How to

Get to Samuka Island

Located about 9 km off the shores of Jinja in Lake Victoria, Samuka Island is easily accessible by boat. You can board a boat from several locations, including Source of the Nile, Rippon Landing Site, Jinja Sailing Club, Kingfisher Hotel, and Masese Landing Site.

For guests arriving from Kampala or Entebbe Airport, private taxis can be arranged directly to Jinja, followed by a scenic boat ride to the island.

Boat transport for guests with room reservations is approximately UGX 150,000 (about $41) round trip.
